Mr. Silcock is a first-time candidate running for state representative.

Mr. Silcock's unwillingness to share his positions with the voters, combined with libertarian rhetoric leads us to believe he is not reasonable or responsible.
Mr. Silcock has so far chosen not to return his Citizens for Belknap Candidate Questionnaire, nor has he completed his Citizens Count survey.
Mr. Dana Silcock is employed as a regional technical operations for Eustis Cable, a utility contractor, and an online resume shows he has held a variety of positions, including as an assistant manager for a movie theater, automotive technician, house painter, restaurant manager and dairy farmer.
He was elected in 2025 to the Belmont Zoning Board of Adjustment, where his term expires in 2028.
He has a campaign website, which includes these statements:

“Our state motto is "Live Free or Die." I will stand by that motto, shouting from the rooftops: WE ARE FREE. Together, we can ensure New Hampshire remains a place where freedom thrives and our children can afford to call it home.”
He lists as issues:
"Affordable Housing
This issue matters deeply to me. It's near impossible for citizens to purchase a home or property, let alone afford rent. This housing crisis is forcing New Hampshire citizens to leave our state. I'm sick of seeing my friends and family move away. We need real solutions to keep our communities together.
Economic Opportunity
New Hampshire should be a place where hard work pays off. I'm committed to policies that attract good-paying jobs to our state, support small businesses, and ensure our young people have reasons to stay and build their futures right here in the Granite State.
Government Accountability
Your voice matters. I believe in a government that listens to its people, not special interests. I'll work to ensure transparency in Concord and fight for a state government that truly serves "We the People" — because that's what our founders intended."
Citizens for Belknap has concerns about his fervent libertarian statements. With no voting record or returned questionnaire, we cannot recommend Mr. Silcock as reasonable and responsible at this time.
