Ms. Weller is a lifelong resident of Belknap County and the Lakes Region. She is a licensed insurance agent who has worked with the Washwick Agency Inc. in Bethlehem, NH since 2023, and is a resident of Barnsead. She has served as a member of the Barnstead Budget Committee.

In answer to a query from a Barnstead resident, she replied:

1- Why am I running against Barbara? I’m not running to single her out.
I am currently on the Barnstead Town Planning Board, during town meeting, school board meeting, the recent school expansion meeting and others I have heard many times that young people don’t want to get involved. I am fairly young, in my 30’s with multiple children. I want them to know that it’s important to get involved and that age doesn’t matter. I want to help keep Barnstead and New Hampshire a place my children eventually want to grow up and raise their families in.

2- Would I consider myself a moderate or extreme Republican - Between those two options, I would say moderate. While typically when I go to the polls I do receive and vote on a Republican ballot, I feel it is naive to think that only one party can have ideas that benefit people. I think discussion is important and trying to see all sides and doing best to vote to benefit everyone. I believe that it’s okay to agree to disagree and that not everyone will always have the same thoughts and ideas but it’s important to listen no matter what their stance is. 3- am I committed to a party- I am running as a Republican but I absolutely want to hear from everyone. I want to know everyone to feel comfortable reaching out to me to discuss what is important to them. I want Barnstead as a whole to feel represented by me, not just a select few.
