The County Attorney's Office assists police departments with advice on criminal investigation and training on legal issues.

Mr. Cormier was sworn in in May of 2024, after the previous county attorney was elevated to become a district judge. Cormier received his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina, and his law degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston. He has served on the NH Bar Association's ethics committee.
There has been little drama during Mr. Cormier's term. We believe he is a reasonable and responsible asset to the County.
