Ms. Sullivan is a resident of Belmont and is a first-time candidate. She ran a last-minute write-in campaign for the position of registrar of probate. 

 

The Registrar of Probate advises residents as they navigate the county court system for wills and trust issues.

In a brief conversation at the Meredith polls, Ms. Sullivan was reluctant to speak with Citizens for Belknap, but noted that she provides home-health care services specializing in Parkinson's Disease.

In a Laconia Daily Sun  letter, she writes that she holds degrees in criminal justice and paralegal studies, and interned with the Gilford Police Department and the Belknap County Attorney’s Office.  She said, "These experiences gave me valuable insight into law enforcement, court procedures, and the importance of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality."

Ms. Sullivan has a limited public profile,  but has written three letters to the editor.  She has not held local positions in Belmont that we've found.

Although her experience in probate matters is limited, we've found nothing that would disqualify her from the position.    The role of Register of Probate is limited, so Citizens for Belknap is comfortable in recommending Ms. Sullivan  as a candidate.
