Mr. Wallace only registered to vote in Meredith on June 10th, 2026, the same day he became a candidate. He is past rep from Danville who is a libertarian. We do not recommend him.

About the Candidate
In one of his previous terms (2021) as a state representative from Danville, Mr. Wallace had a 100%/A+ rating from the NH Liberty Alliance. While not a Free Stater, he appears to be a home-grown extreme libertarian.
Mr. Wallace is a real estate businessman and former state rep in Rockingham District 32 from Danville, NH. He only recently moved to Meredith, though he has owned a property in Meredith for a few years and until recently, his home was available for vacation rental.
We confirmed with the Meredith Town Clerk's office that he registered in Meredith on June 10th, 2026, and minutes later registered to run as state representative to represent your interests. That in itself is disqualifying in our book, but read on.
He has served on no local boards in Meredith, written no letters to the editor or had any notable public engagement.
As a state rep from Danville in 2022, Mr. Wallace has a 96.1%/ A rating by the NH Liberty Alliance. He is a libertarian, and judging from his Citizens County profile from 2024, an extreme one at that.
⚠️He has also been convicted of "Remove/Deface Political Advertising signs. He was arrested in September 2024, found guilty and paid $620 in fines and fees, with two other charges dismissed.
Meredith residents have also reported to us he is using signs which say Re-Elect Scott Wallace, when he has never served Meredith previously.
Not behavior becoming of a candidate for state representative.
